We decided to do the Cactus to Clouds hike on Saturday April 28th as a training hike to prepare us for Mt. Whitney this summer. WOW! 11 hours and 8,000 ft of elevation gain later we finally make it to the tram station. We started from the Art Museum in downtown Palm Springs at 4:30 am on Saturday morning. This was an extremely strenuous hike. We chased the temperature to the top and made out pretty good. Bring plenty of water. I drank over 5 litres of water.

What do you mean you can't see the tram station at the top? It's just to the right of the highest peak in the middle. It's just a short walk up from here! Not!
